How Eid Ul Adha Spread Love In Society – Learn Islam

Eid ul Adha spreads love in the society is a well-known phrase to every Muslim, and there is no doubt in its authenticity. Eid literal means is an event or an occasion of happiness. So how is it possible that it does not bring joy in it follower’s life. It spread love in the following ways:

Meet With Family And Friends:

Eid ul Adha is an occasion which all the Muslims want to celebrate with their friends and family.  Where ever they are, and no matter how far they are from their family to celebrate Eid, they went to their houses back. Meeting with the friends and family after a tiring year of work is the best way to spread love. That is why it is said that Eid ul Adha spread love in society.

Exchange of Gifts And Money:

On the occasion of Eid ul Adha people exchanges gift and money with each other. Giving and taking gift is the best means to show your love to someone or to spread it with other peoples. Mostly elders give money to the younger members of the family or to younger people who are friends or relatives. The money given on Eid ul Adha is known as “Eidi”. Exchange of gifts on Eid ul Adha spreads love in society. You can not only give gifts to friends and family but also to those who are in lower social rank than you and to those who are in need of money.

Remember Poor And Needy:

Animal slaughter on Eid ul Adha and meat is divided into three equal parts. One part is ordered to distribute among poor and needy, those who cannot afford to sacrifice animals on Eid ul Adha. It is a way to remember the poor’s in our happiness as well. When you sent meat to needy people, it is your way of saying that you never forget them and they are also a part of your happiness. It gives them hope and is a way of Eid ul Adha spreading love in society.

 Hajj:

Muslims perform pilgrim to Mecca each year. And Hajj ends on the day of Eid. It is the best way in which Eid ul Adha spreads love in the society. All the Muslims around the globe of all genders, races, origin,  color and ethnicity stand before the Holy place of Kaaba, and they are all equal, no one is superior on another. It is a place free from any biases, and everyone loves each other and respects others.  It transcends the message of love to all the people around the world. 

Final Saying:

Muslims celebrated Eid as an event of immense happiness and joy. And Eid ul Adha sends a message of love to all the people of the universe apart from their religion.  It not only spread love among Muslims, but it gives the message of love to non-Muslims as well. The leading spirit of Eid ul Adha is to spread love among all humanity.
